Applications are invited for the following positions on a purely temporary basis in the project on “Social and Educational Status of OBC/Dalit Muslims in Uttar Pradesh”. The project is sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi for a period of two years at the Institute.


Name and Number of Posts :- 

  1. Research Associate (01 post)
  2. Research Assistant (02 posts)
  3. Research Investigator (10 posts)


Qualification :-
  1. Research Associate = Post graduate (55% of marks) in any Social Science discipline and with good academic record and computing skills. Desirable: UGCs JRF.NET/SLET. 
  2. Research Assistant = Post graduate in any Social Science discipline (50% of marks) with good academic record and computer skills as per requirements. 
  3. Research Investigator = Post Graduate in any Social Science discipline and computing skills as per requirement. 

Desirable :-
  1. Research Associate = Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience of working on large data sets and have sound knowledge of use of statistical packages etc. 
  2. Research Assistant = Preference will be given to those who have research experience in data collection/tabulation and data analysis. 
  3. Research Investigator = Preference will be given to those who have experience of data collection/data entry on computer. 

Selection Process : Written Test or Interview

Pay Scale :-
  1. Research Associate = Rs.16000/- to 18000/- per month 
  2. Research Assistant =  Rs.12000/- to 14000/- per month
  3. Research Investigator = Rs.10000/- per month
