Recruitment at Tezpur university for the post of Project Assistant for science communication project entitled “Popularization of an Integrated Arsenic and
Iron Removal Method, ‘Arsiron Nilogon’, at Arsenic Affected Rural Areas of Assam”sponsored by NCSTC, DST under Professor Robin K. Dutta, Principal Investigator, Department of Chemical Sciences, Tezpur University.
Educational Qualification:- Post-graduate Degree in any subject with Chemistry as a subject at +2 level.
Age:-
Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age as on the date of interview. The upper
age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically challenged category.
Fellowship:- Rs. 8,000/- (Rupees eight thousand) only per month.
Duration:- 02 (two) years or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier

Walk In Interview for the post of JRF at Tezpur University 2014
A walk-in-interview will be held on 11-July-2014, 11.00 AM at MBBT department, Tezpur University for One (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DBT sponsored Unit of Excellence project entitled “Role of Non-Canonical Function of Ribosomal Proteins in Inflammation” under Dr. Rupak Mukhopadhyay, Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator at the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University.Name and Number of Posts : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Qualification : M.Sc. in any branches of Biological Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates with NET/GATE/BET/BINC will be preferred.
Selection Process : Interview
Pay Scale : JRF emolument shall be 16,000/- (Rupees sixteen thousand) only + HRA as per rules per month for the first two years and 18,000/- (Rupees eighteen thousand) only + HRA as per rules per month for the third year as SRF, if candidate is ET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified, otherwise it shall be 12,000/- (Rupees twelve thousand) only + HRA as per rules per month for the first two years and 14,000/- (Rupees fourteen thousand) only + HRA as per rules per month for the third year as SRF.
