Employment notification for contractual engagement of non-teaching staff. Applications are invited in Stipulated form from the interested and eligible candidates for non-teaching staff.

Qualification and Experience:-

1. Consultant (ITSS) - Master’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science from a recognised University/ Institution with at least 55 % marks with seven years’ experience in computing.Retired persons with above qualifications may also apply.
2. Junior Engineer (Civil) - Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institute. At least two years post qualification experience as Junior Engineer in case of Degree holders & five years experience in case of diploma holders. Retired persons with above qualifications may also apply. 
3. Production Assistant - Masters degree in Convergent or Multimedia Journalism with an minimum of one year experience in NLE on FCP and layout designing on Coreal Draw or Adobe. Production Assistant (Camera Assistance, Sound/Audio editing –mixing and digital photography): Masters degree in Convergent or Multimedia Journalism with an minimum of one year experience in shooting on any professional camcorder and a portfolio proof of professional digital photography. Must have good Sound editing –mixing and photo editing skills.

Selection Process : Interview

Pay Scale :

1. Consultant (ITSS) - Rs 42,000
2. Junior Engineer (Civil) - Rs 27,000 
3. Production Assistant - Rs 10,000  

Exam Fee :

1. Rs 100/- for  SC, ST & PWD
2. Rs.200/- for all other

Complete application form may either be delivered personally at the Reception Counter of the University or sent by post to the Registrar, Central University of Kashmir, Sonwar, Near GB Pant Hospital, Srinagar 190 004, J&K. Applications received after the last date (1st August 2014) will be summarily rejected and no further correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
