Staff Selection Commission needs stenographers in 2014, Grade C and Grade D level. 12th passed can apply

No. of Posts :-

  1. Stenographers Grade „C‟ : 38 (UR-27,SC-1,ST-06,OBC-4, OH-1, VH-NIL, EX.SERVICEMEN-NIL) 
  2. Stenographers Grade „D‟ : 496(UR-300, SC-62,ST-33.OBC-101,OH-11, VH-02,EX.SERVICEMEN-19).

  1. Stenographers Grade „C‟ 
  2. Stenographers Grade „D‟
Qualification : 12th Pass(minimum)


Age Limit : Candidate age must be between 18-27 years as on 01.08.2014 (Candidates birth not before 02-08-1987 and not after than 01-08-1996).

Selection Process : Written Objective Type Examination followed by Skill Test in Stenography at 100 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m.
for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ &’D’ respectively

Exam Fee : Rs. 100 (Rupees One Hundred only)

Mode of Payment:

  1. Online Mode - On-line application will be available as below:- (a) Part-I Registration: Up to 5.00 PM on 25.06.2014  (b) Part-II Registration: Up to 5.00 PM on 27-06-2014. Pay fee online through SBI net banking or cash through SBI bank challan.
  2. Offline Mode - Go to Notification 

How To Apply :Applications must be submitted only in the prescribed format
( Annexure-I ) On-line or by Post. Detailed instructions as in Annexure - II A or Annexure - II B, may be referred to for postal applications and on-line applications respectively.
